We have not recorded a Great Britain licence for this brand. An overseas licence, if one is listed, does not authorise it to serve players in Great Britain. This profile is for ownership research; check the exact domain in the Gambling Commission register.
Short version: 7Gold is an offshore casino, not a UK-licensed one, and it is reported to sit inside a small family of similarly built brands. The company named on its own terms is ChapChap Technologies Ltd, registered in Anjouan (part of the Union of Comoros), and that same name is attached to a handful of other casinos. What 7Gold does not hold is a UK Gambling Commission licence. So if you are a player in Britain, the licence question matters far more than the sister-site question, and we will spend most of this page on it.
"Offshore" here means the site is licensed outside the UK and takes UK players from outside the UK system. That is legal for you to use, but it changes what happens when something goes wrong, which is the part most brand pages skip.
The operator 7Gold names in its own terms is ChapChap Technologies Ltd, given as a company registered in Anjouan at Hamchako, Mutsamudu, Union of Comoros. The terms also gesture at more than one company behind the scenes — a Costa Rica-based entity and a London-registered one are mentioned alongside the Anjouan company. That kind of layering is normal for offshore operators, but it means the entity you can actually pin to the brand is ChapChap Technologies Ltd, sitting under an Anjouan gaming licence issued under the territory’s Computer Gaming Licensing Act 007 of 2005.
On the licence number: several affiliate pages quote one, but they do not agree on the digits — we saw the same code printed two different ways — and Anjouan’s public register is a search-only tool that did not return a record we could confirm. So we are not going to print a number we cannot stand behind. We could not find a publicly verifiable licence number for 7Gold on the regulator’s own register. If it matters to you, the honest move is to check the Anjouan public register yourself before you deposit, rather than trust a figure copied around affiliate sites.
One thing to be clear about: an Anjouan licence is not a UK Gambling Commission licence. If a game studio or a payment provider 7Gold uses happens to hold a UKGC licence, that is the supplier’s licence for its own service — it does not put 7Gold inside the UK system or give you UK player protections.
7Gold’s own website does not publish a family tree, so we cannot show you an operator-confirmed list. What exists is third-party sister-site trackers that keep attributing the same set of brands to the ChapChap name. We could not open those brands’ own terms to confirm each one (the sites block non-UK checks), so treat the table below as reported, not primary-verified.
| Brand | Operator (as reported) | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Casino 007 | ChapChap Technologies Ltd | Same Anjouan licensee name; not confirmed on 7Gold’s own site |
| Zangabet | ChapChap Technologies Ltd | Reported by third-party trackers only |
| Jackpot Latino | ChapChap Technologies Ltd | Reported by third-party trackers only |
| Aztec Paradise | ChapChap Technologies Ltd | Reported by third-party trackers only |
| Zino Casino | ChapChap Technologies Ltd | Reported by third-party trackers only |
| Mr Jones Casino | ChapChap Technologies Ltd | The "Mr Jones" name has been used by more than one operator over the years — verify before assuming it is this one |
Two honest caveats. First, a shared Anjouan licensee is weaker evidence than a UK operator group: the same offshore company can be a corporate vehicle behind brands that are run fairly separately, so "same licensee" is not the same as "proven common owner." Second, these recycled lists get mangled — one widely copied version even folded in Play Admiral, which is a Novomatic brand and has nothing to do with this network. That is a good reminder to trust the licence footer over a "similar casinos" list.
Because 7Gold sits outside the UK system, the protections you might assume are there simply are not:
If gambling is stopping being fun, free confidential help is available from GamCare on the National Gambling Helpline, 0808 8020 133, and through the National Gambling Support Network. That support exists whether or not the site you use is UK-licensed.
If you specifically want 7Gold’s look and feel, that is your call — but go in clear-eyed about the trade. For a UK player, a UK Gambling Commission-licensed site is the safer choice, and not by a small margin: it gives you a real complaints route, access to UK-approved dispute resolution, funds-protection disclosure, and it actually honours the national self-exclusion scheme. 7Gold’s reported sisters all share the same offshore footing, so hopping between them does not buy you any of that protection back. Pick the licence first, and let the theme come second.
