How We Rate Casinos

What we check on every brand

  • Licence & regulator — we confirm the operating company and its licence on the UK Gambling Commission register (or the offshore authority, clearly labelled) before anything else.

  • Safety & complaints — third-party safety indices (for example Casino Guru), player-complaint records and any regulatory enforcement history.

  • Bonus value — the headline offer read against its wagering requirement, minimum deposit and expiry, so the real value is clear.
  • The network — which brands genuinely share the same operator or licence, verified against the register — not guessed from a shared logo.

How we turn that into a rating

Each brand gets a rating that weights safety and licensing above bonus size. A large bonus never lifts a brand above a safer, better-regulated one. Where a brand is offshore or not on GamStop, we say so plainly and label it — we do not hide it to make a sale.

Our independence
