11 brands investigated
Gamesys is one of the UK’s best-known bingo and casino operators — founded in London in 2001, the home of Jackpotjoy, and since October 2021 owned by Bally’s Corporation (a roughly US$2.7bn acquisition). Its licensed entity, Gamesys Operations Limited, holds UK Gambling Commission account 38905 and runs a family of household-name brands on its own proprietary platform.
Gamesys builds its own games and platform and runs all its brands on it under one licence. That is why Virgin Games, Jackpotjoy, Double Bubble Bingo, Monopoly Casino, Rainbow Riches Casino and Bally’s own Bally Casino share a games library, cashier and terms — several use famous licensed names (Monopoly, Rainbow Riches, Virgin) but the operator underneath is Gamesys itself. (Virgin Bet is a separate licensee, not Gamesys.)
Gamesys has faced two UK Gambling Commission actions: a £1.2 million penalty package in 2019 (money returned plus a payment in lieu, for AML and safer-gambling failings) and a £6 million fine in January 2024 for anti-money-laundering and social-responsibility failings identified in 2022. Because these brands share one operator, they share that record.
The table below lists every Gamesys brand we have reviewed, with licence and GamStop status. For a genuinely different platform and games mix, compare against the other networks in our casino network directory. Licence and enforcement details verified against the UK Gambling Commission public register; last checked August 2026.

We identify the company and licence behind each brand from its terms, licensing register entries and platform fingerprints, then group brands that share an operator. We verify the UK Gambling Commission licence and GamStop coverage for every brand and re-check regularly. See our full rating methodology.
Yes. All 11 brands on this page operate on the Gamesys network, so they share the same company, platform and licensing. That makes them sister sites: expect similar game libraries, shared promotions and, importantly, linked responsible-gambling controls.
9 of the 11 Gamesys brands we list hold a UK Gambling Commission licence and are covered by GamStop. Always check the licence column in the table above before you play.
We have independently reviewed 11 Gamesys brands so far. We update this list as new sites launch on the network or existing ones close.
