Rose Casino has real sister sites, and it is not an offshore operation. It is run by Betable Limited, a Manchester company that holds a UK Gambling Commission operating licence, and it shares that licence and a common platform with a small group of other British-facing brands. So if you arrived here expecting a "non-UK" casino, the honest answer up front is that Rose sits inside the UK-regulated system rather than outside it.
One note before the detail, because it is where most of the confusion starts: do not mix up Rose Casino at rosecasino.com (UK-licensed, the subject of this page) with unrelated overseas brands that happen to use the word "Rose" in their name. Those are separate businesses under different regulators. Everything below is about the Betable-run Rose Casino.
The operator is Betable Limited, registered in Manchester (company number 07080629 at Companies House, incorporated in 2009 and still active). Betable holds UK Gambling Commission account 23328, with a Casino remote licence that has been active since 22 June 2011 and two general betting licences added in February 2026. On the Commission's own register, no regulatory action is recorded against Betable itself.
The technology behind the site comes from a separate company, Grace Media (Gibraltar) Limited (UKGC account 57869), which supplies the platform, the games and the back-office systems. This is the part worth getting right. Rose's own terms state that "we are licensed and regulated to operate in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission of Great Britain under licence number 23328," and that Grace Media "provide the software platform which powers this site under licence number 57869" (rosecasino.com terms, section 2.2). Both companies hold their own UK licence: the platform licence belongs to Grace Media, and the brand you actually gamble with is Betable. Rose runs as a white-label brand on Grace Media's platform — a common arrangement where the operator rents the technology instead of building it.
Sister sites are simply brands that sit under the same operating licence, so you can check them on the Gambling Commission's domain register for Betable rather than trusting anyone's "similar casinos" list. These are the live brands sharing Rose's licence 23328 (source: the UKGC domain register for account 23328):
| Brand | Type | Operator & licence | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ivy Casino | Casino | Betable Ltd, UKGC 23328 | Casino sister on the same platform |
| O'Reels | Casino | Betable Ltd, UKGC 23328 | Casino sister on the same platform |
| Ivy Bet | Betting | Betable Ltd, UKGC 23328 | Betting-led sibling of Ivy Casino |
| RightBet | Betting | Betable Ltd, UKGC 23328 | Betting-led brand |
| Bet442 | Betting | Betable Ltd, UKGC 23328 | Betting-led brand (bet442.co.uk) |
One distinction that trips people up: plenty of other UK casinos also run on the Grace Media platform, but sharing a platform provider is not the same as sharing an operator. Those sites are platform-mates, not sisters — a different owner holds their licence. Rose's true sisters are the brands above, which share Betable's licence 23328, not every casino that happens to use the same underlying software.
The same register also lists older Betable domains now marked inactive — Cosmic Spins, Magical Wins, Riches of the Nile, Dice City Casino, Prospect Hall Casino and Slots Rush. They belong to the brand's history but no longer trade, so treat any site still using those names with caution. Beyond the names on that register we could not verify further "sisters," and we have not listed any that only appear on affiliate round-ups.
Because Rose, Ivy Casino and O'Reels all run on the Grace Media platform, they tend to look and behave alike, and their terms are cut from the same cloth. That similarity has practical consequences worth knowing before you sign up to more than one of them.
This is the one genuine caution on an otherwise clean picture, and it sits with the platform rather than the brand. On 26 June 2025 the Gambling Commission imposed a £60,000 financial penalty on Grace Media (Gibraltar) Limited for breaches of the remote self-exclusion social-responsibility code and of direct-marketing consent rules. The Commission put the failings down to human error, noted the company cooperated and required remedial steps. Betable, the operator of Rose specifically, has no recorded action. It is a small penalty by industry standards, but it is a real, dated mark against the platform that powers Rose, and it is fair to weigh it, particularly the self-exclusion point, when you decide how much to trust the group.
A UK-licensed casino is the safer choice for a player in Britain, because the licence brings a complaints route that ends in independent dispute resolution, mandatory participation in the national self-exclusion scheme, and required deposit-limit and affordability tools. Rose Casino already is a UK-licensed casino, so those protections apply to it. The "offshore, no UK protections" framing you may see attached to the Rose name does not fit this brand. The sensible caution is not the licence; it is the platform's 2025 enforcement history and the ordinary discipline of setting your own limits before you deposit and not chasing losses across a family of near-identical sites.
If gambling has stopped feeling like a choice, the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133, run by GamCare, and the National Gambling Support Network provides free treatment across Britain. Rose Casino is for adults aged 18 and over.
