We have not recorded a Great Britain licence for this brand. An overseas licence, if one is listed, does not authorise it to serve players in Great Britain. This profile is for ownership research; check the exact domain in the Gambling Commission register.
The short answer first. Golden Genie is an offshore casino aimed at UK players from outside the UK system, and it is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. Its own terms and footer name the operator as Golden Genie LTD, a Curaçao company registered at Hollandia 87, with the day-to-day running attributed to a management outfit called Lava Entertainment. On the question of sisters, the honest answer is narrower than most pages will give you: we could not confirm a single sister brand from Golden Genie’s own site or any primary source. Affiliate directories list plenty of names. The operator itself names none. That gap is the whole story, and it is worth understanding before you read a list of “sisters” anywhere else.
Golden Genie surfaced in 2023 and markets itself openly as a casino that sits outside the national online self-exclusion scheme, which is the clearest signal that it operates beyond UK regulation. The company named in the terms is Golden Genie LTD in Curaçao, and several reviews tie it to a wider Curaçao network run under the Lava Entertainment name. We have not been able to check that network against any company registry, so treat “one of thirty-odd brands in a group” as a claim rather than a fact.
Licensing is where this matters most. The site displays a Curaçao “master licence” and, separately, a Mexican gaming permit. We could not verify either against the issuing regulator’s own public register, so we are not reproducing the numbers it prints. The independent complaints service Casino Guru goes further: it reports that a search of Curaçao’s gaming registry did not return Golden Genie, its operator, or the licence it advertises, and it treats the Curaçao claim as fake and the Mexican permit as unverifiable. A licence number you cannot look up on the register that supposedly issued it is not evidence of anything.
There is one more thing to know before you go searching. Golden Genie runs across a cluster of near-identical domains, and some of the marketing pages behind them claim a UK Gambling Commission licence. That claim is false. You can confirm it in a minute on the Commission’s own public register of licensed businesses, where neither the brand nor its operator appears.
We only list a casino as a sister when the operator’s own site, its terms, or a company registry confirms the link. On that test Golden Genie’s verified sister list is empty. Here is what is actually established versus what is merely claimed:
| Brand | Operator | Verification note |
|---|---|---|
| Golden Genie (and its mobile version) | Golden Genie LTD (Curaçao) | The only names the operator uses for itself in its own terms. This is one casino with a mobile front door, not a family of sites. |
| Galaxy Spins, Love Casino, Spicy Jackpots, Magic Win and others | Attributed to “Lava Entertainment” by affiliate directories | Not named on Golden Genie’s own site and not confirmed on any company or regulator register. We do not present these as established sisters. |
Why be this strict? Because with an unverifiable licence and no corporate registry we can point to, an affiliate’s “sister sites” list is just a set of casinos that look alike or share an advertising affiliate. That is not the same as a confirmed shared operator, and a real limit or self-exclusion depends on the difference.
The risks here are not abstract. They are the specific protections you lose the moment you deposit.
If you are set on Golden Genie, at least go in with your eyes open: licensing that cannot be verified, a rock-bottom independent safety score, and no UK fallback if a payout is disputed. For almost everyone, a UK Gambling Commission-licensed casino is the safer choice. You get the same games from the same studios, but with a regulator you can complain to, rules on how your money is held, a self-exclusion tool that actually works, and deposit limits that mean something. Those protections are the real product. Offshore is precisely where you hand them back.
