UKGC 65252 — surrendered 4 September 2026 · 65252

Last verified: August 29, 2026

BresBet status, checked 9 September 2026: BresBet Ltd surrendered its UK remote operating licence on 4 September 2026. The UKGC had suspended it on 28 August 2026. Bres Bet should therefore not be presented as a currently licensed UK signup option or a source of live welcome offers. The company was identified with bresbet.com; the relevant UKGC account is 65252.

What happened to the licence?

The UKGC notice reports that both BresBet Ltd and Bet St George Ltd were suspended on 28 August following suspected social-responsibility and anti-money-laundering failings. Its 5 September update confirms that both surrendered their licences the previous day. The register marks BresBet's remote casino, bingo and betting permissions Surrendered. Suspected failings should not be presented as findings of criminal wrongdoing.

Are Bet St George and other comparisons sister sites?

A joint regulatory notice does not establish common ownership. Bet St George was a separate named licensee, and its own licence was also surrendered on 4 September. It is not a currently licensed alternative to BresBet. The former article mixed independently operated comparisons with sister-site language; the sources cited here do not establish another current casino under BresBet Ltd's surrendered permission.

DragonBet and Planet Sport Bet appeared as comparisons in the previous article. That does not establish shared accounts, transferable funds or common ownership with BresBet. Any other operator requires its own current domain and licence check. A familiar platform, sports theme or similar promotion is insufficient evidence of a sister relationship.

If you still have money in an account

The Commission's suspension notice explained that the suspension did not prevent account access and withdrawals, and its surrender update says the operators were reminded to plan the closure so customers were not unnecessarily disadvantaged. This does not confirm the present status of an individual balance. Use the operator's official account-support route, keep a record of your balance, withdrawal requests and correspondence, and ask for a written response.

If a dispute remains unresolved, follow the operator's complaint process and the applicable ADR route. The UKGC complaint guidance explains the process; the Commission does not itself decide an individual withdrawal dispute or guarantee a refund.

Why old bonus and payment tables are no longer current

The previous article described live BresBet and Bet St George welcome promotions, payout estimates and positive numerical ratings. A surrendered licence makes those signup comparisons inappropriate. No current offer or timed withdrawal result is established here. Historical screenshots are retained below with that limitation; they are not current terms or endorsements.

For Great Britain incentives, bonus wagering has been capped at ten times bonus funds since 19 January 2026. The former claim that current UK bonuses typically require 20x to 50x should not be used. That general rule does not restore a surrendered permission or establish a new BresBet offer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does BresBet have any current sister sites?+
No current sister-site network is established by the evidence here. BresBet Ltd surrendered account 65252 on 4 September 2026. Brands previously compared with it should be identified as independently assessed alternatives, not assumed to share an operator or accounts.
Is BresBet still licensed in Great Britain?+
BresBet is not a current UK-licensed signup option: its remote licence was surrendered on 4 September 2026 after suspension on 28 August. Check the UKGC account 65252 and the regulator's dated notice.
Can I rely on an old BresBet welcome offer?+
A current promotion should not be inferred from an old BresBet welcome-offer description. Its UK remote permission was surrendered on 4 September 2026. Contact the operator about an existing balance rather than depositing to claim a historical offer.
What should I do about a remaining BresBet balance?+
For an existing BresBet account, contact the operator through its official support route and keep records of the balance and any withdrawal request. The regulator's notice said suspension did not prevent withdrawals, but it does not establish that an individual payment has been completed.
Is Bet St George a current licensed alternative?+
Bet St George also surrendered its operating licence on 4 September 2026, according to the UKGC's joint notice. It should not be presented as a current UK-licensed replacement for BresBet.
