We have not recorded a Great Britain licence for this brand. An overseas licence, if one is listed, does not authorise it to serve players in Great Britain. This profile is for ownership research; check the exact domain in the Gambling Commission register.
Does Blizz have sister sites? Yes — one we can actually verify: GenieJackpot. Both are run by the same offshore operator, Meta Bliss Group B.V. of Curacao, which in turn sits under a Swedish listed parent, 36 Group AB. And the single most important thing to know first: Blizz is an offshore casino and is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, so none of the protections a UK player relies on apply here.
This page sets out who really runs Blizz, what we could and couldn't verify about its licensing, the one sister brand we can stand behind, and — because it matters more than any games list — the risks of playing an offshore site from the UK.
Blizz Casino (the crypto-led site at blizz.io, live since around 2022) is operated by Meta Bliss Group B.V., a company registered in Curacao. Ownership is layered, and worth pinning down properly rather than flattening to "owned by X":
That parent link is unusually well documented for an offshore casino, precisely because a listed company has to publish its filings. It also throws up a red flag we come back to below.
Blizz operates under a Curacao licence, not a UK one. Beyond that, treat the exact number quoted around the web with real caution:
What is certain is the part that decides your protection: this is not a UK Gambling Commission licence. If any UK-licensed platform technology sits behind the scenes, that would be the platform provider's licence, not Blizz's — and it would give a UK player no UK consumer protection at Blizz.
We list a brand as a sister only when the same operator is confirmed by the operator's own material or a primary source — not because an affiliate calls it "similar". On that test, Blizz has one confirmable sibling:
| Brand | Operator | Note |
|---|---|---|
| GenieJackpot | Meta Bliss Group B.V. | Crypto casino launched in 2024; named alongside Blizz as a Meta Bliss brand in parent 36 Group's own disclosures. Also offshore and not UK-licensed. Don't confuse it with any similarly named UK-licensed site — this is the Curacao crypto brand. |
We found no other Meta Bliss casino brand we could verify. Ignore the longer "sister" lists that bundle Blizz with random UK brands on the strength of a shared look or a shared slot supplier — shared design and shared game studios are not shared ownership.
Because 36 Group is listed, its 2026 half-year report is public — and it does not reassure. In it, 36 Group wrote its Meta Bliss investment down to effectively nothing, reported Meta Bliss revenue of only a few thousand pounds for the entire half-year, an operating loss, and — the line that should stop any depositor — that it had struggled to obtain complete financial records and player registers from the operation. Separately, the group is moving its unrelated "Blizz Markets" product to another company in Costa Rica.
None of that means the casino stops taking bets tomorrow, and the report indicates the casino brands keep running. But an offshore operator that its own listed parent has impaired to zero, that turns over almost nothing, and whose player records were hard to reconcile, is exactly the counterparty to be careful with. It also squares with a pattern of delayed and unresolved withdrawal complaints on independent trackers, where players report sizeable withdrawals held up for weeks with little response. One tracker even lists Blizz as closed while others show it still live in 2026 — so confirm its current status before you deposit anything.
Read these before any welcome offer. For a UK player, an offshore site strips away the safety net a UK-licensed casino gives you:
If you are set on Blizz, at least go in clear-eyed: it is an offshore Curacao crypto casino run by Meta Bliss Group B.V., its one verifiable sister is GenieJackpot, we could not confirm a current licence number on the regulator's own register, and its listed parent has just written the operator down to near-zero. For almost every UK player, a UK Gambling Commission-licensed casino is the safer choice — you keep the UK complaints and ADR route, fund-protection disclosure, and cover by the national online self-exclusion scheme, none of which exist here.
